BURLINGTON, VT: The race to hold Vermont government’s number two spot is heating up. Yesterday, one candidate in the democratic primary, Senator David Zuckerman, released his first campaign video.
“I’m a farmer and I’m running to be Vermont’s next Lieutenant Governor,” said Zuckerman who runs Full Moon Farm, an organic vegetable and meat farm with his spouse. “I wanted to share with Vermonters the foundation of my beliefs, the deep roots I have in Vermont, and my approach to ensuring a strong and vibrant Vermont for future generations.”
The video opens with Senator Zuckerman going into his barn to feed the pigs and highlights many of the issues he has worked on over the years. The Zuckerman campaign plans to use the video as a tool for people to get to know the candidate better.
“I would like to return Vermont to one of its rural traditions,” said Zuckerman. “If elected, I will be honored to be the first active farmer to serve as Governor or Lt. Governor in more than 50 years.”
The video was produced by BorderTown.
